Please respect The Studio Upstate’s policies pertaining to the health and safety of our members and instructors, the care of our equipment, and the longevity of our space. The Studio
reserves the right to refuse service to anyone who does not adhere to these policies.

COVID Policies according to NYS and CDC guidelines:  

  • Advanced registration for classes is required. No walk-ins will be permitted. 

  • Participants are encouraged to arrange private and small group sessions in advance. 

  • All participants must read and agree to The Studio policies in order to register for classes. 

  • The Department of Health and New York State STRONGLY RECOMMENDS masks in indoor settings where vaccination status of individuals is unknown (as of May 19, 2021). We also STRONGLY RECOMMEND you wear a mask during our group classes and private parties. Vaccinated individuals are not required to wear masks. 

  • Practice hand hygiene upon your arrival to The Studio. Hand sanitizer is provided near the entrance. Please use hot water and soap for washing hands in the WC.

  • Bring your own mat, towel, and other personal materials you need for class. 

  • Participants are required to clean the equipment after use with the approved sanitation spray provided by The Studio. Participants are also encouraged to wash or sanitize hands post-cleaning. 

  • Participants must confirm they have NOT: 

    • Knowingly been in close contact with anyone who has tested positive or who has/had symptoms of COVID-19 in the last 14 days.

    • Had symptoms, or tested positive for COVID-19 in the last 14 days. 

    • Traveled within a state with significant spread of COVID-19 in the last 14 days.

Studio Policies: 

  • Advanced registration is mandatory! No walk-ins! 

  • Payment is required prior to participating in all classes and events. 

  • All participants must sign a waiver before attending class. 

  • Arrive early to prepare for class. No late admittance is allowed. 

  • Class passes and memberships cannot be transferred to another member. 

  • For hygiene purposes, all attendees must bring their own mat and towel. There is a $5 fee for mat rental.

  • Bare feet are not permitted on the Pilates reformers. You must wear non-slip/grip socks for all reformer classes. Socks are available to purchase from The Studio or you may rent a pair for $5. 

  • For your safety and to avoid equipment damage, do not apply body lotion and remove all jewelry in aerial and reformer classes. 

  • Members are not allowed to offer instruction to other members. No exceptions. 

  • Injuries should be reported prior to the beginning of class. Any injuries that occur during class should be reported to an instructor immediately. 

  • Remove your shoes in the mud room. Place your personal items in the designated changing rooms. The Studio is not responsible for the loss or damage of any personal property. 

  • Nudity is not permitted in The Studio. 

  • Children under age 16 are not allowed in The Studio without prior permission.

  • Adults 18+ are permitted to attend exotic classes. 

  • Pets (with the exception of service animals) are not allowed in The Studio. 

  • No alcohol or illegal drug use is permitted in The Studio. 

  • No refunds, returns, or rollovers on class passes, memberships, private sessions, workshops, or retail. 

  • All cancellation and waitlist policies must be followed. 

 

Cancellation Policies: 

  • If you must cancel your reservation, please do so at least 6 hours before the official class start time. 

  • If you must cancel your reservation less than 6 hours before class, a friend or family member may take your place and your account will be charged as if you were attending class. Please be respectful of our class pass and membership policies. Sending a friend or family member in your place regularly is not allowed and could result in the termination of your contract. 

  • If you do not attend class or you do not send a friend or family member in your place, your class will be forfeited. No exceptions. 

  • Classes start on time. If you are more than 5 minutes late, you will not be admitted into class.

  • If you must cancel or reschedule a private lesson, please do so 24 hours in advance of your session or your session will be forfeited.  

 

Waitlist Policies:

If a class is full, you may place yourself on the waitlist through our website. Based on your profile preferences, you will receive a notification if you have been added to the class. If you are waitlisted, please plan to attend class and follow all Studio and cancellation policies. If you remain waitlisted, you will not be charged for class. 

 

All Access Pass Terms and Agreement: 

The All Access Pass gives you unlimited opportunities to participate in regularly scheduled classes at The Studio including: Pilates mat and reformer, aerial dance, IT, and yoga. This pass also includes Studio perks like a welcome gift with Studio and local goodies, as well as discounts on workshops and boutique retail.

 

The charge for this membership is $200 per month. Your membership begins on the purchase date and ends after one calendar month. There are no refunds or rollovers. If you need to terminate prior to the agreed end date you will be responsible for paying a $50 cancellation fee. This membership cannot be shared or transferred to another person. Member discounts do not apply to gift card purchases or booking classes for other people, and cannot be combined with other promotions. You must register online prior to attending class to reserve your space as equipment may be limited. Please be mindful of our 6 hour cancellation policy. If you do not attend class or you do not send a friend or family member in your place, your class will be forfeited. No exceptions.  Additional restrictions may apply. 

 

Drop-In, 10-Pack, Monthly Special Terms and Agreement:

All drop-in, 10-pack, and Monthly Special passes must be redeemed in full per the stated length and terms of the package. These passes cannot be shared or transferred to another person. There are no refunds or rollovers (so get that booty to class!). You must register online prior to attending class to reserve your space as equipment may be limited. Please be mindful of our 6 hour cancellation policy. If you do not attend class or you do not send a friend or family member in your place, your class will be forfeited. No exceptions. Additional restrictions may apply.

 

Drop-In: valid for 30 days from purchase date 

5-Pack: valid for 60 days from purchase date

10-Pack: valid for 90 days from purchase date 

Monthly Special: valid for 30 days from purchase date 

All Access: valid for 30 days from purchase date

 

Private Events Terms and Agreement- Bachelorette, Birthday, Girl’s Night Out parties: 

All private events including Bachelorette, Birthday, and Girl’s Night Out parties must be reserved in advance and scheduled outside of normal studio hours. Private events are $40/person and scheduled for two hours.There is a minimum attendance requirement of three guests. A non-refundable deposit equal to the entry for two guests ($80) is due upon booking to reserve the space. The deposit will be applied to the entry fees of two guests the day of the event. The deposit is non-refundable. No exceptions. The remaining guest entry fees must be paid in-person at the beginning of the event. All Studio policies apply to private events.
