Zoe began her health and fitness journey when she was introduced to yoga at an early age. The creative postures and focused meditation would later open the door to other expressions such as dance and competitive horseback riding. In 2011 she discovered a new love for movement when she began pole, aerial, and fire dancing. She has competed and performed internationally, while continuing to expand her knowledge of mind-body balance and healthy living. Zoe wants to inspire people to be their best selves, and she hopes that The Studio Upstate will be your motivation to reach for the stars.

Sammy began her movement and performance journey as a child. Often persuading the neighbor children to perform in dance based shows she created for their families. In 2007 she picked up a hula hoop changing her life forever. She started performing the summer of 2008 in the Catskills with a band named Mazmyth. Together they performed in small hole in the wall venues as well as big ones like Gramercy Theater in NYC and main stage at Bamboozle. Moving to Boston after college, she went on to practice many more circus arts. Having spent many years studying yoga under several knowledgeable instructors to help with her own alignment and posture, she incorporates much of that into her own teaching.

Michelle has been pole dancing since the fall of 2017, traveling throughout the East Coast and Canada to work with many different instructors and learn a diversity of styles. In 2019 she won 2nd place at the Pole Sport Organization Northeast regional competition in Boston, Mass. She created original choreography for that performance and fell in love with powerful imagery and intoxicating movements. Michelle looks forward to future performances as Hazel BonBon, which is her stage name. In the fall of 2021, she was honored to be included in Carmine Black's Sexy Seminary in Brooklyn, NY. This was an immersion into technical sequences as well as the concepts of developing sensual movement.
In 2017, Michelle completed a 200 hour yoga teacher training with Kathy McNames of Yoga Vermont. Since then she has logged hundreds more hours teaching traditional Ashtanga Yoga with Yoga Vermont and more recently with the Champlain Yoga School.
